Backup power for every budget, protection for what you already own, and lighting that goes up once.
A standby generator starts on its own within seconds of an outage and runs your home until the power comes back. No extension cords, no refueling in the cold.
App-controlled LED lighting mounted along your roofline. Set it for the holidays, game days, or everyday accent lighting, all year long.
An interlock kit and outdoor inlet let you plug a portable generator into your panel and power the circuits you choose. No extension cords through the windows, and the interlock keeps power from feeding back into the utility line.
Lightning, grid switching, and power coming back after an outage all send spikes through your wiring. A surge protector at the panel takes the hit so your HVAC, appliances, and electronics do not.

Thorough and professional. He communicated consistently throughout the entire process. From the moment I called, I got email and text notifications, appointment reminders, and I was able to ask questions. Chris installed 4 dedicated circuits in my garage and wired in a mini split. I can't recommend CWC Electric enough.
Chris and his team installed a whole house surge protector and two A/C soft starts. Very quick and professional install. Highly recommend him for your electrical needs.
I had a handful of electrical chores I needed tackled. I reached out to CWC based on a neighbor's recommendation. Glad I did. Chris was awesome! Great, honest communication throughout the process. He provided a quote that gave a detailed description of the scope of work to be done. The work was done neatly and in a timely manner. He even cleaned up all of the drywall dust!
Our regular service area is roughly a 35 mile circle around Temple: north to Waco, south to Jarrell, west to Kempner, and east to Cameron. Everything inside that circle gets full service, from a single repair to a new build.
Outside the circle we take on project work case by case. If you're not sure, call and ask.
Usually one of three things: the circuit is overloaded, something plugged in has a fault, or the breaker itself is worn out. Occasionally it's a loose connection or damaged wire, which is the one you don't want to ignore. A troubleshooting visit finds the cause and we quote the fix before doing anything.
Every job is priced flat rate, not by the hour, and you get one written price before we start. Small jobs are quick and priced that way. Panel upgrades, generators, EV chargers, and remodels depend on your existing setup and how far the wire has to run, so we look at it first, then quote it. If we find a problem behind the work you called about, we'll show you and price the fix separately. If something changes, you hear about it before it costs anything.
It depends on what you want to run during an outage. Most homes in our area land between 18 and 26 kW to carry the AC, well pump, refrigerator, and lights. We do a load calculation on site and size it to what you actually need instead of guessing.
Yes, with an interlock kit and an outdoor inlet installed on your panel. It lets you power the circuits you choose through one cord while keeping the generator from feeding back into the utility line. It's a fraction of the cost of a standby system.
Yes. We install Level 2 chargers for every brand, including hardwired Tesla Wall Connectors and 14-50 outlets for plug-in units. The visit includes a load calculation to confirm your panel can handle it.
Most repair and troubleshooting visits are scheduled within a few days. Larger projects are scheduled once you approve the written price. We reply to every request within one business day.
Yes for repair, remodel, generator, EV, and new construction work. The one exception is estimates requested during a real estate option period or for pre-purchase inspections. Those are consulting visits with a fee, since they take the same site assessment as any other estimate.
